Originally from Dallas, Amanda came to Austin to attend college at the University of Texas and never left - typical. After graduating with degrees in Advertising and Plan II, she is now a photographer and graphic designer. In her spare time, she searches out the city’s best vegetarian food and travels the world having adventures. She loves all things retro and drove all the way to Iowa to purchase a 1950s letterpress.
Amanda's style of photography is photojournalistic at heart, born long ago during her days on her high school newspaper and yearbook beat. As a client, that means that you will not see her asking you to tilt your head to a 37º angle, but you will probably see how happy you look when you laugh. Feel free to take a look at Amanda’s current work on Flickr.
She also recently finished a photo cook book called Little Kitchen.
